Stellenticket HWR Berlin

The student assistant will support the setup of a benchmark server for port Hamiltonian systems, with which online submissions of code for solving pHS can be tested and objectively compared with other solutions. She*he will help with the programming of an online interface and test software, as well as a community area with accounts. She*he will work on the maintenance of the server and develop suitable container solutions with Dockers or Singularity.

Must-have criteria:

• Skills in the use of calculus and linear algebra
• Skills in programming
• Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skill

Optional criteria:

• Programming skills in Python
• Knowledge of Linux
• Skills in numerical methods
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
